Amy and I are so glad to have you visit The River site.  We want this site to be not only a place where people can find information about The River, but a resource that will help you grow in your relationship with the Lord and assist you in fulfilling His purpose in every area of your life.

We are excited about what is happening at our church here in North San Diego County and even more excited about being able to be available to encourage YOU with the Word of God and His love. He loves you so much and desires to not only live in you but touch lives through you.

The River has been established by God to be a worshipping church, dedicated to impacting our city, nation and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our mandate is to obey God, follow the example of our Lord Jesus, demonstrate God’s unconditional love, reach the lost and bring people to maturity in Christ through obedience to His Word.  We are called to assist people in fulfilling their God-given destiny.

The River is a place where all can  find love, acceptance, help, forgiveness, encouragement and purpose. We are dedicated to  fulfilling the Great Commission through worship,  prayer, discipleship and evangelism.  We are dedicated to building strong families. We are dedicated to obeying God and loving and serving Him with our lives. Our passion is to follow Jesus’ example on this earth with His love being the motivating force of all we do and say.
